In addition to the natural themes, the coins from Connecticut celebrates art, and the Vermont coins pay homage to conservation efforts.<br>The Sacagawea Dollar features the woman for whom the coin is named and her son, Jean-Baptiste, on the obverse. The reverse features a portrait of Elizabeth Peratrovich and an artistic rendering of a bird.
